BULLS SILK™ (Natural Braided Silk Sutures)

Traditional Handling Meets Modern Manufacturing, BULLSOFSILK is a non-absorbable, sterile, surgical suture composed of an organic protein called fibroin. This silk is processed and braided in our USA facility to ensure that the natural fibers maintain the highest possible purity and strength.

Technical Data & Benefits:

* Treated & Coated: Our silk is degummed to remove natural impurities and then coated with wax or silicone to reduce capillarity and provide a smooth surface for tissue passage.
* Handling: There is no material that handles quite like BULLSOFSILK. It provides the most tactile feedback of any suture, with knots that lock into place with absolute security.
* Usage: Traditionally used for ligation and cardiovascular procedures where permanent, high-friction knots are required.
* Benefits: The “softness” of the braid makes it comfortable for the patient and incredibly easy for the surgeon to manipulate in deep, difficult-to-reach cavities.
